Refunds and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 24 May 2026
1. Free trial before purchase
RetainerMeter provides a 30-day trial so you can test the app before buying. Please use the trial to check whether RetainerMeter works for your device, workflow, invoices, clients, and business needs.
2. Paid v1 licence
A paid v1 licence is normally final once the licence is issued or download/access begins, except where applicable law gives you cancellation, refund, or statutory rights that cannot be excluded.
If you made a duplicate purchase or there is a clear payment error, contact us and we will review it fairly.
3. Digital content and withdrawal rights
For digital software supplied online, cancellation rights may depend on where you live, whether download/access has begun, and whether you expressly agreed to immediate access. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
4. Maintenance plan
The optional maintenance plan can be cancelled for future billing. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not normally refund the current paid period unless required by law or clearly stated at checkout.
If maintenance is cancelled, your RetainerMeter v1 licence keeps working, but maintenance updates and support may stop after the paid period ends.
5. Major upgrades
Major upgrades are optional separate purchases. Buying a major upgrade does not cancel your existing v1 licence. Refund handling for a major upgrade follows the same digital software rules as the v1 licence unless stated otherwise at checkout.
6. No guarantee of business outcome
Refunds are not normally provided because RetainerMeter did not produce a particular business result, save time in a particular way, suit an unsupported workflow, or replace professional accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice.
